Technical courses for welders and companies
Since 2018, I.W.C. has been running a programme dedicated to technical training in the field of welding, with the aim of training, specialising and updating the skills of operators working in the industrial sector.
Our training programme is based on our first-hand experience in the metalworking industry and our day-to-day understanding of production processes, welding procedures and the practical needs of businesses.
We started with basic courses aimed at people with no prior experience, and went on to develop more specialised programmes at the request of companies and employment agencies, designed to enhance welders’ skills and support their professional development.

Basic courses
Courses designed for people with no prior experience who wish to explore the world of welding and acquire their first theoretical and practical skills.
Specialisation
Technical specialisation
Training for welders who are already familiar with the basics of the trade and wish to refine their techniques, materials, procedures and the quality of their work.
Company
Training for company
Courses designed for companies, employment agencies and manufacturing firms that need to train or upskill their operational staff.
WPS / Procedures
Further information on filler materials, welding procedure specifications (WPS) and the correct operating procedures required in industrial settings.
Welding techniques
The training courses may include theoretical and practical sessions on the main welding techniques used in industry: MIG/MAG, TIG, electrode and submerged arc welding.
The training can also provide a deeper understanding of filler materials, operating procedures and specific WPSs, which are essential for working correctly, in a controlled manner and in line with the required standards.
TRAINING IN SMALL GROUPS
At our premises, we run courses for small groups, usually of 6 to 8 people, a size that allows us to give each participant more individual attention and makes the sessions more effective.
A small group allows us to focus more closely on individual difficulties, correct technical errors and gradually improve the quality of performance.
NOT JUST A WELDING SCHOOL
To describe this initiative simply as a ‘welding school’ would be an understatement. I.W.C.’s aim is to provide practical technical training that is tailored to the real needs of the industrial sector and geared towards the professional development of its participants.
That is why we prefer to talk about training: a programme that combines skills, practical experience, methodology and an understanding of production processes.
