I.W.C. a history of more than 20 years
I.W.C. is an industriai company founded in 2014. In 2016, IWC acquires a business unit of a steel structures carpentry manufacturer operating since 1991 utilised in Northern ltaly by heavy industries that has developed rapidly, increasing its know-how and acquiring new technology. That business unit has incorporateci not only the new technology but also the human resources required far this competitive industry. These human resources have started, since 1998, to build pressure machinery and plants.
Moreover, from 2001 has been added the manufacture of pressure parts (Harps, H.P. I.P. L.P. Steam Drums, internal and external pi ping) and steel structures (I niet Duct, Module Boxes, Stairs ladders and platforms, Outlet Stack) far Heat Recovery Steam Generators far Electric and Thermal power generation.
Therefore, I.W.C. has now the in-house resources to develop the construction from mechanical design, drawings, specification and testing, to the completion of every kind of steel component from Carbon, Low Alloy and high Alloy steel, stainless steel to clad and weld overlaid materiai to stainless steel.
COMPANY STRUCTURE
ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
The Engineering Department is dedicateci to the coordination of each activity concerning the design, up to the processing of the drawings, to the mechanical, seismic, wind, lifting and to the transport calculations.
PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT
The Service plans and manages the operating activities to ensure conformity of the manufacturing sequence with the technical requirements, according to the applicable standards and specifications. The Service establishes the fabrication schedules and manages the company resources to meet ali technical requirements and delivery terms. Il servizio stabilisce il programma di produzione e dirige le risorse aziendali garantendo il rispetto delle commesse sia in termini qualitativi che temporali.
TECHNOLOGICAL DEPARTMENT
The Technological Department studi es the development of applicable processes during manufacturing to achieve through their application ali the required construction characteristics. The service is based on a digitai communication system (ethernet or USB) that allows precise contrai and monitoring of ali welding and production processes, guaranteeing that they are applied correctly.
MANAGEMENT AND QUALITY CONTROL DEPARTMENT
The Quality Contrai Service works according to the modern concepts of Quality Assurance, as detailed in the Quality Assurance Manual applied by I.W.C. Sri. The contrai steps, during the manufacturing, are fixed in the proper inspection plans issued by this company. The inspection technological tests and those far fabrication and materiai contro I, are properly detailed in the procedures issued far each job by the Service. This service is also responsible far the sub-supplier’s qualification, the incoming materiai acceptance and the preparation af finai documentation of each job. The Generai Manager is entrusted to verify the Quality Assurance System which guides and coordinates all services provided in IWC.
